Warped - Installation
WARPED is a video-installation designed and exhibited to experience this parallel state of being. It promises an experience of life after death where it is absurd, surreal, and unfamiliar.
To explore the possibilities of crafting narratives in space, we designed and built a parabolic surface which would be the base for the projection mapping.

- Projection mapping
Created using over 600 prisms made of paper, cut across by a parametric curve, the parabolic surface was conceptualised and designed to evoke a sensation of rhythm. It was inspired by Matt Shlian's work. The surface development serves as a canvas for our projection experiments as it interacts differently with the light when viewed at different angles.
Over the span of three days, we set out to create the installation. We worked together in the areas of 3D modelling, laser-cutting, sound design, creating motion graphics for projection mapping, branding of the exhibition, and setting up the installation.
